The Seal Assembly provides an effective seal in the ID of the polished bore receptacle (PBR) when tying back into a liner and isolates the production tubing from the annulus. The standard Seal Assembly includes three sets of bi-directional seals and is used for tieback strings to surface, cemented tieback strings and scab liners.
• Muleshoe or full round guide shoe at the bottom of the Seal Assembly guides it into an existing PBR
• Full bore ID imposes no restrictions to liner access for future intervention and remedial operations
• Provides collapse pressure support for the PBR when fully engaged
• Locator provides positive indication that the seal stem is correctly positioned inside the PBR
• Lengths up to 30 ft (9.14 m) available
• Additional seals can be added
• Unidirectional seals available
• Premium seals to withstand high differential pressures
• Cementing ports can be added for cementing of the tieback string
