The Fishing Magnet is a special purpose fishing tool used for retrieving metallic objects from the wellbore before coring or drilling and can be run inside casing without losing its effectiveness. The magnet can be run on either wireline or pipe, ensuring a clean hole from junk (such as bit cones, bearings, slips, tong pins and milling cuttings) that cannot be retrieved by conventional fishing tools
