The single-trip Wellhead Retrieval System simplifies the removal of subsea wellheads with the ability to cut and remove casing, along with the wellhead, in a single trip. The retrieval system includes a 30-in. casing spear and pipe cutters and only requires one stand of 8-in. drill collars to be run above the system while eliminating the need for a marine swivel.
The Hydraulic Pipe Cutter is designed to cut single and multiple strings, using pump pressure to actuate the knives. The knife return system has been integrated into the Hydraulic Pipe Cutter to prevent unwanted knife opening when tripping in and out of the well.
