The single-trip Casing Recovery System combines an integral tension set packer and a hydraulically activated spear to eliminate the need for multiple trips to cut and remove a targeted piece of casing. The Internal Pressure Pipe Cutter makes use of pump pressure to actuate three crushed carbide dressed knives to cut single or multiple casing strings. The system is rotary driven and can be deployed to either run and set a bridge plug or dress a cement plug prior to cutting and recovery of the casing.
