Import Tool's Debris Seal Packer (DSP) is a liner-lap packer specifically designed for running horizontal production and steam injection liners on heavy oil/SAGD/CCS applications. The DSP includes an industry proven, robust stainless steel dual element which prevents produced sand and other debris from impeding steam injection and heavy oil production in a high temperature, abrasive environment. The packer is set hydraulically through a pressure filled piston on the running tool which is installed before running in the well.
• Single trip system
• Hydraulically activated
• No elastomers; complete metal design
• Tapered entry sleeve with tractor grooves for completion re-entry
• Multi-piece packing element
• Available tieback capability using internal machined threads and tieback sub
• Compact length, approximately 3.28 ft (1.0 m)
• Larger metal gauge ring ensures element protection while running in the well
• Internal locking system
• Optional inner-string capabilities through running tool to allow for circulation to the toe
• Element options available to accommodate specific applications
• Setting tool capable of transmitting high torque
• Low setting and release pressures; pressure truck is not required
• Element provides dependable pressure and debris seal
• Ability to push, pull, rotate and circulate in compression or tension, to aid the liner to set depth
Import Tool's MSR Thermal Liner Hanger Packer is a retrievable, anchored liner-lap packer designed for any well scenario; vertical and horizontal conventional, horizontal production and steam injection liners for heavy oil/SAGD/CSS applications, and liner patching.
The MSR includes an industry proven, robust HT rubber infused-stainless steel dual element which prevents produced sand and other debris from impeding steam injection and heavy oil production in a high temperature, abrasive environment. The MSR element is rated for temperature conditions up to 650°F (343°C) at pressures up to 3,000 psi (20.68 MPa).
The MSR liner top can be equipped with a PBR tieback extension up to 19.69 ft (6.0 m) in length.

Import Tool's Vault System is designed to incorporate the liner top Debris Seal Packer (DSP) and retrievable bridge plug into a single trip, eliminating the costly second bridge plug run. With the ITC Vault System, the operator has the ability to pressure test the liner top packer and bridge plug separately while staying attached to the running string. This eliminates the risk of liner migration out of the intermediate casing due to pressure testing forces across the well.
The Vault System incorporates the bridge plug into the first joint below the liner top which is attached to the DSP running tool. This allows the system to have the full ability to push, pull, rotate and circulate the liner while running in.
The ITC Thermal Debris Seal Packer includes an industry proven, robust stainless steel dual element. This prevents produced sand and other debris from impeding steam injection and heavy oil production in high temperature, abrasive environments up to 1,200 °F (650 °C). The cold production Debris Seal Packer includes an elastomer element that is rated up to 275 °F (135 °C). When set, the element acts as a solid debris barrier that protects the production fluid from being contaminated with sand and other downhole debris.
