Bow Spring Centralizers are designed for vertical or slightly deviated wells to provide maximum standoff. They feature inter-locking bows installed on hinged end collars, creating a strong, singular unit. The hinged end collars make for fast and easy installation over stop collars or casing couplings.
Bow Spring Centralizers are available in sizes from 60.3 mm - 508.0 mm (2-3/8” – 20”)
Features:
- Fabricated using double rolled alloy steel and hot formed in a controlled heat treatment plant to ensure uniform hardness and excellent spring action.
- Designed to exceed the performance requirements of API 10D specification for both starting and restoring forces
Semi-Rigid Centralizers consists of dual contact bow springs that withstand higher lateral loads. They are ideally suited for horizontal and highly deviated wells and produce a higher restoring force and less drag downhole. The Semi-Rigid bows are non-welded and inter-locked between two hinged end collars, creating a strong, singular unit. The hinged end collars make for fast and easy installation over stop collars or casing couplings.
Bow Spring Centralizers are available in sizes from 114.3 mm - 508.0 mm (4-1/2” – 20”)
Features:
- Higher restoring force and stand-off allows for optimal compression through tight spots, ledges, and dog legs
- Designed to exceed the performance requirements of API 10D specification
- Heat treated in to ensure uniform hardness and excellent spring action
Fluted Stand-Off Band Centralizers are designed to provide a positive stand-off of the casing in vertical, horizontal, and deviated wells. Fluted Stand-Off Bands reduce friction while running casing and act as bearings when the casing is being rotated.
Fluted Stand-off Bands are available in sizes from 114.3 mm – 298.5 mm (4-1/2” – 11-3/4”)
Features:
- One-piece, light weight design
- Slip-on for easy installation
Spiral Stand-Off Bands come with angled right and left embossed vanes on a solid body. The angled vanes increase turbulent flow to help reduce the effects of channeling by improving cement flow. This provides an improved cement bond between the casing and wellbore.
Spiral Stand-off Bands are available in sizes from 114.3 mm – 298.5 mm (4-1/2” – 11-3/4”)
Features:
- Angled vanes that cause turbulent flow to help improve cement bond
- One-piece, high-grade steel
Thermoplastic Spiral Centralizers are manufactured using quality polymer material formulations. Thermoplastics produce low friction factors and rotational torque when running casing while significantly reducing drag and casing wear.
Thermoplastic Spiral Centralizers are available in sizes from 114.3 mm – 177.8 mm (4-1/2” – 7”)
Features:
- Low friction factor
- One-piece, metal free design
- Able to withstand high well bore temperatures of up to 450 °F (230 °C)
- Angled fins induce turbulent flow for improved cuttings, filter cake removal and cement bond
Slip-On Welded Cement Baskets are designed for casing with larger than expected annulus, and above porous or weak formations that require protection from the hydrostatic generated by the cement column.
Cement Baskets are available in sizes from 114.3 mm – 508.0 mm (4-1/2” – 20”)
Features:
- Convex shaped bows welded to both end collars to provide added strength
- Used in cased hole or open hole application
Reciprocating Cable Wall Cleaners are designed to remove excess filter wall cake, gelled mud, and bit cuttings from the wellbore. They consist of overlapping high-alloy steel cables that are interlaced 360 degrees around the band. This provides a better bonding surface for the cement by producing a wiping action while running and reciprocating casing.
Cable Wall Cleaners come in sizes 114.3 mm – 508.0 mm (4-1/2” – 20”)
Features:
- Overlapping steel cables which create a betting cement bond surface within the well
- Integral locking device that attaches to the casing as a stop collar
Stop Collars are designed to keep centralizers and other casing accessories locked in place, optimizing accessory placement. The Slip-On stop collar comes with a row of set screws for effective, durable fastening to the casing. The Slip-On style is a better option where low annular clearance is encountered.
The Latch-On type Stop Collar can be easily latched onto the casing without having to slip on. The Latch-On Stop Collar consists of two parts that are hinged at 180 degrees which features a draw bolt fastening system that establishes a friction grip when tightened.
Features:
- Slip-On style where low annular is encountered
- One or two rows of set screws for added fastening strength
- Latch-On style for non-rotating applications
