The Glass Disk Buoyancy Collar is a mud-over-air tool specifically designed to aid liner, and casing runs to bottom in horizontal applications. A temporary barrier is formed inside the casing with a glass disk to allow for separation of air-filled casing below from fluid above. When activated, the glass disk shatters into dust particles which can be safely circulated through any down hole equipment.

The Drill Pipe Buoyancy Collar is a liner flotation device that utilizes a pressure activated ball valve that is installed into the workstring and designed to aid liner to bottom in shallow, long horizontal applications.
A temporary barrier is formed inside the workstring with a ball valve to allow for separation of air-filled liner below from fluid above. As the liner is run-in, the fluid filled workstring above will help push the lighter, more buoyant air-filled liner below to set depth. Once the liner has reached set depth, the applied pressure will shift the internal ball valve to its fully open position, allowing the air to migrate up out of the liner below.
When ran in conjunction with a float shoe, the operator has the ability to circulate out drilling mud to water or desired production fluid once liner has reached set depth and the ball valve has been sheared open.
