The Glass Disk Buoyancy Collar is a mud-over-air tool specifically designed to aid liner, and casing runs to bottom in horizontal applications. A temporary barrier is formed inside the casing with a glass disk to allow for separation of air-filled casing below from fluid above. When activated, the glass disk shatters into dust particles which can be safely circulated through any down hole equipment.
