The Casing Brush is run as part of the drill string and cleans the inside of the wellbore casing as the string is run in the hole. The tool consists of a one-piece body, stabilizer sleeves and a non-rotating brushing bristle lantern. The body rotates through the lantern to avoid bristle wear during rotation, and the flexible lantern provides the force to contact and clean 360 degrees of the pipe.
The Casing Brush is available in a heavy-duty version with upper and lower mill rings to help break down large pieces of debris. The Casing Brush can be run as a stand-alone device or in conjunction with circulating tools, clean-up tools and cleaning agents.
