The design of the In-Line Magnet allows the tool to pick up large volumes of ferrous debris while retaining the maximum amount of fluid bypass. The strong magnets are encased in steel for prolonged life and are fixed into precisely engineered ribs which greatly increase the magnet’s surface area and the volume of debris, which can be picked up and taken out of the hole.
The In-Line Magnet is available in a heavy-duty version with stabilizer mill sleeves to break down large pieces of debris that might exist in the wellbore. The stabilizer features tungsten carbide inserts which are casing friendly and give low torque and drag friction factors.
